Here we are a family of faith, brothers and sisters of Christ, sharing the vision of the Church. We try to see that every family member has an opportunity to grow through the ministry program of the church.
Because we know that each person is unique, we offer various ministries of nurture, witness, service, and m
utual encouragement, so that we all may grow in faith and faithfulness.
We seek to be a healing and redemptive family, holding on to each other, as we face the challenges of living in today’s world. We are a celebrative and thankful family, rejoicing in the new life in Christ we have come to share.
Lake Jackson United Methodist Church is called to the ministry of reconciliation. We embrace as a gift the diversity of our neighborhood and the world.
We affirm that all people are created in the image of God and as beloved children of God, all are worthy of God’s love and grace. We welcome the full inclusion of all people in the life and ministries of Lake Jackson United Methodist Church as we journey toward reconciliation through Christ.
We recognize that there are differences among us, but believe that we can love alike even though we may not think alike. We proclaim this statement of welcome to all who have known the pain of exclusion or discrimination in the church and society.
We invite all people to join us in our faith journey toward greater love, understanding, and mutual respect.
